Environment:

This position operates in a warehouse and cooler environment (34 degrees). The employee will utilize Forklift equipment and RF scanners.

Shift/Pay: 5 Days a week

6:00AM - Finish@ $20.00 (Morning) Will work between 8-10 hour days

Days Off: Tuesday and Saturday

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated stand-up forklift operator to join our receiving department. This role requires you to be available for the afternoon shift. You will be consistently moving and primarily operating a forklift. When not on the forklift, light housekeeping within your work area will be expected. Basic math skills and the ability to operate an RF scan gun are essential. Please note that steel-toed boots are required, and the work environment is cold storage.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a stand-up forklift in the receiving department.Perform light housekeeping tasks in the work area when not operating the forklift.Use an RF scan gun to track and manage inventory.
Ensure accurate receiving, loading, and unloading of goods.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Skills2 years of experience operating a stand-up forklift and/or reach truckExperience with an electric pallet jack rider (preferred).Order pullingBasic math skills.Ability to read and operate an RF scan gun.Work Environment

The work environment is in a food distribution company's cold storage, which is maintained at 35 degrees at all times. Contractors are provided with jackets and cotton gloves, but must bring their own steel-toed boots. You are allowed to wear your own sweatshirts and hats to stay warm. No certifications or medical requirements are needed.
