Job Description

We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, Reach Truck, and material handling in a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for shipping, loading, unloading trucks, inventory management, and cycle counting.

ResponsibilitiesOperate Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Truck.Handle materials in a warehouse environment.Work in a freezer environment.Perform GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) tasks.Load and unload trucks.Manage inventory and perform cycle counting.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating stand up forklifts, shipping & receiving.Experience with pallet jack and forklift operations.Material handling and picking using RF scanner.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a food manufacturing company.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Constant movement and ability to keep up with production demands.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility is a large operation with over 400 employees working across two shifts. The operation includes multiple loading docks and handles stock inventory that moves through various stages including sizing, splitting, cutting, frying, and instant freezing. Forklift drivers will spend most of the day in the freezer but will receive a 10-minute break every hour away from the freezer. The shifts available are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and 5 PM to 1:30 AM, with some flexibility on start times.

This is a Contract position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
