Key ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyse business requirements in order to develop or maintain MT and/or ISO 20022 payments/FX messages or APIs for payments related processes such payment initiation, clearing and reconciliation as well as FX related processesSupport, maintain and facilitate working groups to gather requirements and to formulate market practicesCollaborate externally with diverse stakeholders to harmonize market practice and drive adoption, promoting international standardisation/convergence. These stakeholders include groups such as the Payments Market Practice Group (PMPG) as well as the FX Market Practice GroupUnder the supervision of a senior standards expert, provide support in the maintenance of payments/FX MT and/or ISO 20022 messagesRespond to customer questions related to the content, use and implementation of MT and ISO 20022 messages for payments/FX related processes.Competency Profile

At least 1-2 years financial industry experience gained in financial institution, consultancy, service provider, industry association, software vendor or similar, ideally in an operational and/or business analyst roleBroad understanding of payments, in particular cross border international payments and or foreign exchange. Knowledge of other areas in the financial market is a plus.Deep operational knowledge of business processes, standards and the industry actors involved in payments/FX transaction processing – transaction banks, market infrastructures, etc. in at least one domain (e.g. international payments).Understanding of international standards and the role they play in the financial system.Detailed knowledge of FIN MT payments/FX and cash management messages as well as ISO 20022 messages in the area of payments and reporting.
