Purpose:
• Responsible for generating sales in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives. May manage existing accounts as part of a larger account team or could manage named accounts within a geography for a particular product or product set. A portion of incumbent earnings normally paid on quota via an incentive/commission scheme.
• The focus of the role as the Client Executive is responsibility for primarily driving in-country profitable, sustainable revenue growth. In addition, the Client Executive will provide national account management support where there is a customer requirement to do so. Where appropriate, the Client Executive will be a key member of the global team for their respective accounts.
• The Client Executive develops strategy and provides leadership and direction for the client, setting and meeting objectives at the senior management level for rollout of Xerox offerings and solutions within their assigned account(s). Success will be measured in part by the incumbent’s:
• Account Development (KPI: Achievement of ESR and stream revenue plans, ability to broaden Xerox offering and market share of solutions).
• Client Strategy (KPI: Expansion of contacts and relationships in the account that are high, wide and deep).
• Operational Excellence (KPI: Ongoing increases in profitability for account(s)).
Scope:
• This position is responsible for Xerox's relationship with a portfolio of strategic, complex national accounts where the incumbent:
• Is typically assigned 1 to 2 large, visible, complex and strategic accounts with generally more than $8 million in total revenue.
• Has record of success selling at Sr. Mgmt levels.
• Successfully expands and retains customer accounts with 2 or more Xerox solutions.
• Successfully leads teams or works with third party partners.
• Has solid proficiency/knowledge of all Xerox offerings/solutions.
General:
• Recognized as an expert in own function
• Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices
• Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives
• Primarily domestic scope/accountability; may include some international scope/accountability
• Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirement
Primary Responsibilities:
• Building national account strategies and driving opportunities within domestic and global LAMP accounts.
• Primarily works on deals that are services-led that are typically $2M in size.
• Strategically and pivotally influences their clients document strategy. The customer often sees them as a value-added team member/consultant to the business.
• Is a thought-leader and is sought out by the Client at the C-Level for advice on business problems and opportunities.
• Establishes and manages effective business relationships at both functional and executive levels articulating the value that Xerox can bring.
• Participates/leads industry and business-related organizations, society, conferences and other client related activities.
• Develop and monitor the achievement of the overall sales account strategy and plan.
• Represent the sales function, ensuring company values and pricing and sales policies are adhered to and sales goals are achieved.
• Over achieve both stream and sales revenue and growth targets across all Xerox business areas within the defined accounts.
