The STAR Technical Training Instructors primary responsibility is to deliver instructor-led (in-person and virtual) technical training courses to STAR Center Agents, Stellantis corporate personnel, and other audiences on an as needed basis at Stellantis Technical Training Centers, mobile locations, and other Stellantis facilities as availability or scheduling permits. The Instructor will prepare for and maintain the highest-level of technical proficiency in all responsible skill areas. The STAR Technical Training Instructor is responsible for managing course registration and roster processing. The STAR Technical Training Instructor will maintain training vehicles, special tools, hand tools, classrooms, course hardware and components, diagnostic equipment, and software updates (Mopar Diagnostic Pods, VCI Pods, and STAR Training Computers).

Reporting and analytics Course development Transportation of vehicles Obtaining and/or reserving special tools, supplies, and facilities Coordinate other training activities Assist STAR Skill Area Leads Assist with supplier training activities Work with Knowledge Management Team Lead, coordinate, and/or participate with special projects when needed and as assigned Assessing the technical training needs of STAR Agents Prioritizing/scheduling course offerings to maintain highly trained Agents in each Skill Area Arranging necessary space, tools, vehicles, and presentation materials for course delivery Working closely with business partner to ensure new hire Agent training is effective Consulting with Skill Area Leads to identify ad-hoc training needs of each team Directing course distribution among training instructors; coordinating their travel locations/dates for class attendance for certification training Driving consistency on proper case handling and terminology Directing and evaluating work of STAR technical trainers and Content Author employees Developing process for documenting and sharing new repair guidance information among Agents Delivering technical training courses to STAR Agents, Master Consultants, Skill Area Leads, and new Technical Trainers Organizing course delivery schedule to accommodate for STAR Center workforce planning Engaging Commodity Leads to develop and arrange ad-hoc trainingBasic Qualifications:
Highly motivated and capable of accomplishing goals with little direct supervision 3 +years experience Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems - bumper to bumper, and a basic knowledge of STAR Center processes Ability to interact effectively with various personality types Strong communication skills -- written, verbal, and platform Ability to multitask and work in a rapid paced environment Familiarity and ease with office automation programs (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.) Knowledge of service diagnostics procedures Possess an unrestricted driver's license ASE Master Certified – Automotive (A1 - A9) Previous work experience as a technician in a dealership and or experience delivering automotive technical trainingPreferred Qualifications:
