We are seeking a Startup Operations Lead to join our team and support multiple incubated companies. This role will work closely with CEO founders to manage their workflows, streamline onboarding processes, and facilitate communication between the startups and the Managing Director of the studio. Over time, this role may expand to oversee a team of others playing similar roles, ensuring consistency and standardization across all incubated companies.Your Responsibilities IncludeWorkflow Management: Help optimize workflows for the leadership teams of incubated companies, ensuring efficient operations and strategic alignment.Onboarding Standardization: Standardize the onboarding process for startups, including processes for scheduling meetings, accessing content, reviewing SOWs, and providing a positive overall experience.Strategic Project Management: Drive key strategic projects, from planning to execution, for multiple companies, ensuring alignment with overall goals and objectives.Communication: Foster clear communication between company executives, teams, and stakeholders, including async communication methods to reduce sync time.Trust Building: Build strong relationships with company executives, acting as a trusted advisor and collaborator to support their goals.Documentation: Create and maintain key documents that support strategic decision-making, project tracking, and stakeholder alignment.Team Oversight: Potentially oversee a team of project managers, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in their work with various startups.
Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the OrganizationExperience: 5+ years of experience in management, strategic planning, or a similar role, ideally in a startup or venture capital environment.Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.Systems Thinking: Ability to design and implement systems that optimize operations and scale the impact of the leadership teams.Strategic Thinking: Ability to drive strategic projects, make data-driven decisions, and align initiatives with overall goals.Adaptability: Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and provide valuable input to evolving strategies.
