SWIF is seeking an Audit Technician responsible to review and complete final audits relating to workers compensation policies. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A State Workers' Insurance Fund Auditing Technician evaluates all components of the audit and identifies changes/updates to be made on Workers Compensation policies, i.e. ownership, entity type, experience modification/merit factors, business operations, locations, additional businesses, anniversary rating dates, FEIN #, classification additions, and deletions. This position communicates with insureds, agents, brokers and regulatory agencies regarding audit issues, e.g. classification and payroll allocations. Work includes responding to written requests from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (PCRB) and Office of the Attorney General (OAG ) regarding audits and reviews, and directing policy changes to the appropriate sources including Legal Entity, Underwriting and Claims Divisions. A State Workers' Insurance Fund Auditing Technician creates detailed electronic notes that chronicle pending issues, telephone conversations with internal and external sources, communications sent and received, explanations, actions required and taken pertaining to audit related matters. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment. + Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. + Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Two years in casualty insurance auditing and/or underwriting experience which included the assignment of classifications and application of proper rates, premium computations, policy assessment, and the issuance of new or revised policies; or + Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
