2-3 years Supervisory/Managerial experience, dependent upon level of education

A Bachelor Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or Public Administration and 6 years of experience in the Human Services field
or a Master Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or Public Administration and 4 years of experience in the Human Services field
This Opportunity:The Statewide Director of Foster Care is responsible for the general management and administration of the Child Placing service line in accordance with Monarch policies and procedures.What You'll Do:Achieve and maintain Foster Care program capacity goals, in unison with Monarch's Strategic Plan
Conduct periodic inspections of foster homes, client records and ensure compliance with the Foster Care Program policies and procedures.
Plan, monitor and evaluate the annual budget and monthly expenditures of the Foster Care Program, ensuring that program expenditures remain within the budgeted allocations and that budgeted income is billed/received
Captures data to determine priorities in addressing emerging or changing Foster Care concerns.
Oversight of clinical teams in all geographical locations, supervising and leading Foster Care teams
Works in unison with VP of Operations to set growth strategy to scale foster care to a multi-county program.
Create a robust system of support for foster parents across the state to lean on for additional and ongoing support
Manage and administer the Child Placing Agency in accordance with licensing requirements and policies of the governing board.
Ensures organizational adherence to mission and values.
Creates and executes an annual operating budget and financial plan.
Represent Monarch at statewide meetings related to foster care. Actively engage with foster care community at state level.
Hire, train and supervise employees of the Child Placing program.
Delegates authority and responsibility, when required, to qualified staff to ensure quality childcare and sound operations.
Responsible for coordinating and leading staff training to address any new or ongoing needs.
Meets regularly with management staff to review, discuss, revise, and enhance policies, procedures, and program design as necessary.
Maintains active role in the intake process; has the authority to make final determination about acceptance into the program in conjunction with the Executive Vice President and Monarch leadership.
Coordinate with Marketing and Outreach Resources for external visibility and awareness.
Ensure therapeutic programming meets industry best practice standards and incorporates innovative improvements.
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Driving and travel may be required.
