The Station Services Manager will provide operational management and support to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery handling of customer materials and shipments. He/she will ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
\n\nSalary Range: 107,900 - 130,000
\n\nKey Tasks & Accountabilities:\n\n\n\nResponsible for overall efficient and effective Service Center operations regarding pick-up and delivery personnel and services
\n\n\nEnsures all material is picked up and delivered from/to all area accounts in accordance with DHL
\n\n\nguidelines, customer expectations and government regulations
\n\n\nEnsures safe, efficient and timely handling and transportation of all customer materials
\n\n\nDevelops operations plans and budgets based on goals and objectives
\n\n\nWorks with sales management to promote sales growth by advising on customer activities and achieving specific customer call targets
\n\n\nMay manage, coach, and train sales representatives in smaller locations
\n\n\nMay ensure compliance with import/export regulations, duties, and tariffs in some markets
\n\n\nSupervises two or more staff; responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff
\n\n\nAssigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes
\n\n\n\nSkill & Qualifications:\n\n\n\n
Typically requires BS/BA and 6-8 year's experience in related field, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience or military leadership MOS experience
\n\n\nHas extensive depth of expertise and knowledge in specialized functions or business areas
\n\n\nA thorough understanding of specific aspects of work supervised and practical application to problems and situations ordinarily encountered
\n\n\nDevelops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards
\n\n\nDevelops new applications based on professional principles and theories
\n\n\nViewed as expert in functional or business area within DHL
\n\n\nDeals with cross-cultural tactical issues
\n\n\nProfessional certification required in some areas
\n\n\nA valid Driver's License and a motor vehicle record the meets driving privilege standards
