Operate &/or maintain stationary engines, boilers, or other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings or industrial processes. Operate equipment, such as steam fed heat exchangers, generators, motors, pumps, and steam boilers.

Required qualifications:

Associate's Degree   Any mechanical field such as HVAC, Welding, Plumbing, Biomechanical, Mechatronics, etc. combined with 3 years Stationary Engineer experience working in a power plant or central utility plant.  Upon hire: Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer – Unlimited HP License or Upon hire: Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer – 500 HP License  Upon hire: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.  California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire    5 years   Power Plant or Central Utility Plant experience; Hospital experience is a PLUS

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree   Biomechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Mechanical related degree, combined with 3 years Stationary Engineer experience working in a power plant or central utility plant.    Or equivalent educ/experience 5 years of Power Plant or Central Utility Plant experience; Hospital experience is a PLUS
