**Job Title: Stationary Engineer**
**Job Description**
Operates and performs repairs and preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, boilers, and power plant equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repairs broken water and/or steam lines and installs new lines.
+ Performs water and air balancing to ensure proper distribution per system design.
+ Maintains all types of pumps, including centrifugal, rotor, positive displacement, and multiple stage feed pumps.
+ Maintains multiple stage air compressors and hot water heating systems.
+ Cleans and repairs pneumatic and low voltage regulating controls, steam pressure control valves, various types of heat exchangers, and electrical motors and vacuum pumps.
+ Maintains and upgrades the building automation system and integral components such as variable air volume (VAV’s), thermostats, and air handling unit (AHU) controllers.
+ Makes rounds to check all mechanical equipment in the facility to ensure proper operation and performs troubleshooting as needed.
+ Performs maintenance welding, occasional silver soldering and brazing, and sweat copper as required.

+ At least 1-2 years of experience in the field
+ Ability to work independently without constant supervision
+ Commercial HVAC experience is preferred
+ Welding and pipefitting experience is strongly preferred
+ Manual machining experience is strongly preferred
+ Stationary engineer licensed in the City of St. Louis, MO

**Work Environment**
Working inside a well-maintained healthcare facility, ensuring the comfort and safety of the building occupants. The role includes shift work, with a relief shift from Monday through Friday, and availability for all shifts as needed. Minimum 40 hours per week.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of St. Louis, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00
