Job Description

This is a stationary engineer role for a well-known corporate client. The role involves comprehensive building maintenance including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and kitchen appliance maintenance. The focus is on HVAC maintenance, which is crucial for this site.

ResponsibilitiesPerform building maintenance covering MEP systems.Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.Maintain and repair kitchen appliances.Complete daily work orders received throughout the day.Communicate effectively with internal employees and team members.Track work through the CMMS system and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high quality.Utilize an iPad for tracking work and team communication.Essential SkillsHVAC maintenance experience.Electrical maintenance.Plumbing maintenance.Troubleshooting skills.Preventative maintenance expertise.Appliance maintenance.Kitchen repair.Boiler maintenance.Additional Skills & Qualifications5 to 10 years of building or stationary engineer experience.EPA certification or Universal CFC certification for HVAC knowledge.Membership or past membership in Local 39.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is based at a corporate office in South Bay. The work schedule is from 11 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday. The environment is professional, with employees expected to utilize modern technology such as iPads for tracking and communication. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69.52 - $69.52/hr.
