**Job Title: Stationary Engineer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a 2nd grade Stationary Engineer to join our team. We can also accept a 3rd grade Stationary Engineer who will be eligible to test for a 2nd grade license within 6 months. This position requires working from Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 10pm. The role involves the maintenance, operation, and cleaning of a large industrial utilities facility that provides Steam, Heat, Hot Water, Instrument and Zero Air, Chilled Water, and other services to a manufacturing facility. The Stationary Engineer will be engaged in monitoring systems, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and responding to equipment needs as required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintenance and operation of utilities systems including boilers, heating and hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.
+ Perform work within structured safety, maintenance, and operating procedures.
+ Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance as required.
+ Perform predictive maintenance tasks such as Ultra Sonic Leak Detection, Thermal Scans, and Vibration Analysis.
+ Perform routine equipment cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
+ Operate systems and equipment in a control room environment.
+ Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of problems affecting the facility's operation and environmental compliance.
+ Read blueprints, material specifications, manufacturer’s literature, operating procedures, and work instructions.
+ Collect data, maintain records, and provide comprehensive logbook entries.
+ Support energy conservation measures.
+ Actively support the GMS process and Level 5 BPD.
**Essential Skills**
+ MD Grade 2 Stationary License
+ Experience with high horsepower boilers
+ Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, facilities maintenance, and preventive maintenance
+ Basic computer skills for work orders
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in building maintenance
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Experience in boiler maintenance and repair

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a facility with seven commercial buildings. The work environment involves operating in a control room setting and performing maintenance tasks across the facility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks Glencoe, Maryland.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
