Aerotek is seeking 2 stationary engineers to operate and maintain boiler equipment and systems in St. Louis, Missouri. These are full-time career opportunities (direct placement).
ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate equipment and systems involved in the production of steam and hot water.Preventative and corrective maintenance.Perform scheduled inspections to ensure quality, continuous operations, and safety.Air and water balancing per specifications.Pumps including rotor, positive displacement, multiple stage feed, vacuum, and centrifugal.Maintain regulating controls and valves, heat exchangers, and motors.Monitor and adjust building automation system (BAS) and components including thermostats, air handlers, and VAVsWelding, soldering, brazing, and sweating as necessary.RequirementsClass 1 Stationary Engineering license through the City of St. Louis required.At least 18 months of stationary engineering experienceExperience maintaining commercial HVAC system equipment and componentsExperience working through a CMMSExperience utilizing and operating BASGeneral facility maintenance knowledge and experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, mechanics)Welding, pipefitting, and machining experience a huge plusSchedule & Work EnvironmentStationary engineers must be available for first, second, or third shifts. Opportunity for overtime. Standard work week is 40 hours. Working inside a healthcare facility.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00
