Our Group Facilities and Asset Services business has an opportunity for Cleaning Services Manager for the Metro Trains Cleaning contract. You will provide front line management and supervision of cleaning activities across a portfolio within the MTM contract.
The Cleaning Services Manager position is therefore required to develop effective working relationships with both the client and the contract team ensuring the successful delivery of all operational cleaning projects.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in the supervision of multisite cleaning operations under a commercial arrangement.Experience working in a professional cleaning capacity, with experience in commercial contract management preferred, A solid understanding of the adherence to Key Performance measures. Understanding of integrated facilities contracts and statutory obligations.An understanding of contemporary HR principles and practices, including WH&S and Industrial Relations law and regulations including relevant awards and enterprise agreements. A qualification in Cleaning Operations is desirable, or tertiary qualifications in a business or commerce related discipline (or demonstrated equivalent professional training and experience).

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
Effectively determine the client’s needs and expectations. Develop and implement schedules to meet contractual obligations for Scope of Works meeting client requirements.Ensure all cleaning is completed by a compliant workforce, to scope and to the correct standards and daily audit targets and compliance are achieved.Regularly monitor contract performance to ensure compliance standards and KPIs are met and that service is provided in accordance with the specifications and terms of the contract.Analyse relevant financial information and prepare accurate and timely reports.Implement standards of service and quality and ensure these are met. Assist in establishing and reviewing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
