Shift Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Job Summary This position is critical to ensure efficient hospital operations in relation to the Business office. Under the direction of the Business office manager, this position is responsible for follow-up on denied and outstanding outpatient accounts for specified payers. Some of the main responsibilities include customer service, department specific tasks, administrative duties, communication skills, and accurate documentation. This position is expected to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures and able to utilize all resources within the ultimately contributing to the successful resolution of patient accounts. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Revenue cycle knowledge, Healthcare finance experience, computer skills, Knowledge of HIPPA regulations, Insurance Billing experience & Working with Medicaid and Medicare.
