Posting Details Job Title STEPS Scholarship Advisor Requisition Number TE08768 Department Name 1B520:Academic Scholarships Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $15-$20 Type of Position Temporary Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education Required Related Experience Required License/Registration/Certification Physical Requirements Lifting, pulling of objects up to 25 lbs. Shift Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (37.5 hours/week) Job Summary Counsel students/parents about scholarships and financial aid programs including application procedures and eligibility requirements for selection and renewal.
Assist with the administration of academic merit-based scholarship programs for freshmen and transfer students. Assist in the administration of gift scholarship accounts to incoming and currently enrolled students.
Review data and make routine decisions based on established criteria. Conduct presentations at various EM and Student Success Outreach events. Provide assistance to students and staff from various collegiate units on the use of the Scholarship Platform. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Initiative, decision-making, attention to detail, professional interpersonal skills,
customer service oriented, dependable, good listening skills, articulate. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
