We are immediately hiring for an IV / Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician with a rapidly growing company in the Columbus area. This is a long-term career opportunity on 1st shift, and we are looking for a Pharmacy Technician with at least 1 year of sterile compounding experience.

Description:

This role will primarily be performing sterile compounding duties in a pharmacy setting.

Mix IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques.Follow proper procedures to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.Perform environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing, and other activities.Maintain accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting, and tracking drug items.Perform data entry and update patient profiles with necessary information.Maintain clean room logs.Sterilize and clean the clean room based on applicable regulations.Verify lot numbers and perform periodic inventory checks.Assist with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Must be Certified as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)Must have sterile compounding experiencePay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
