Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician- Full-time

We are seeking a Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician to join our dynamic team Job Description: Key Responsibilities: + Cleaning, Disinfecting, and Decontaminating: Utilize appropriate methods, substances, and equipment to cleanse, disinfect, and decontaminate medical instruments and equipment, ensuring they meet stringent cleanliness standards. + Inspecting, Assembling, and Packaging: Conduct thorough inspections with specialized equipment, assemble, and carefully package supplies in accordance with established protocols to guarantee their integrity and readiness for use. + Sterilizing: Employ approved methods, substances, and equipment to sterilize medical instruments and equipment, playing a vital role in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety. + Distribution: Efficiently distribute supplies throughout the entire organization as required, contributing to the seamless operation of our healthcare system and supporting frontline staff in delivering exceptional care. + Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor sterilization processes closely and meticulously document quality assurance testing to uphold compliance with regulatory standards and maintain the highest levels of safety and efficacy. Qualifications: + Prior experience in processing surgical instruments in any capacity is preferred. + Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through HSPA or Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) through CBSPD is required within 2 years of hire. + Strong attention to detail and adherence to established protocols. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication skills and a commitment to service excellence. + Ability to multitask effectively in a urgent circumstances while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
