Qualifications Include:
~High School graduate or equivalent.
~Must possess excellent communication skills.
~Previous sterilization/hospital experience strongly preferred.
~After 2 years combination of classroom education and job experience the Technician must obtain fluency in hospital terminology, basic knowledge of descriptive anatomy and physiology, a basic understanding of microbiology; the prevention and control of infection; and all facets of disinfection.
