As our Sterile Processing Tech at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, you’ll help our team oversee the sterilization and cleaning of medical equipment, instruments or supplies in a sterile processing environment.

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor sterilization equipmentThoroughly examine supplies to ensure proper cleaning and sanitationTest and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipmentSterilize, prepare, wrap and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical proceduresPrepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, medical procedures and medical cartsMaintain detailed records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies for compliance and quality assurance
Qualifications
High School Diploma, or GED Required Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred
