Sterile Processing Tech Certified SRO 13-week assignment
**BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking certified Sterile Processing Techs to join our outstanding and compassionate float team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:** + System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department-assignment availability is based on the needs of the health system. + Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts + Hospital Location/Shift times varies. Current needs are for 2nd shift: 1p-930pm, 230pm-11pm, 3pm-1130pm, 5pm-130am. Night shift also available 11pm-730am St Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. The Sterile Processing Technician - Certified is responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures. + Required specific skills also includes knowledge of decontamination processes, preparation, and packaging, sterilization techniques based on manufacturer recommendations, and storage of sterilized items, as well as + Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up and interpreting policies, procedures, and protocols and reviewing performance in compliance with recognized standards. + As a BayCare SRO Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will be required to float throughout the BayCare Health System as the needs dictate. + Required Experience is 1 year in sterile processing.
