Sterile Processing Technician
Job Title: Hospital Sterile Processor Location: DTLA Shift Options: + Saturday – Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM + Saturday – Wednesday with rotating weekends, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Job Description: Our Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Sterile Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and proper handling of medical instruments and equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for our patients and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: + Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment. + Assemble and package surgical instruments and trays. + Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance. + Inspect instruments for damage and ensure proper functioning. + Follow infection control and safety protocols. + Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Certification in sterile processing (preferred). + Previous experience in a sterile processing or similar role (preferred). + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
