Sterile Processing Technician *Evenings*

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Burbank, CA. Positions available are full-time and will work 8 -hour Evening shifts. 

Under supervision this position is responsible for decontaminating, operationally checking, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing reusable surgical/clinical instrumentation and implants throughout the hospital.  Operates steam (autoclave), H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) sterilizers, sonic equipment, automated washers and heat sealers; store, date, rotate and distribute reusable surgical/clinical instrumentation.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire. Or,  National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.  1 year  Experience. Or, Graduate from a central service program.
