We are seeking for Sterling OMS Professional to join the team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project 'Strategic/Tech Business Transformation
**Responsibilities:**
+ As a Sterling OMS Support Engineer, you will be responsible for Supporting, designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
+ Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
+ Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
+ Expert proficiency in IBM Sterling OMS Technical is required. Expert proficiency in IBM Sterling Commerce is recommended.
+ Advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management is suggested.
+ Advanced proficiency in Design & Build Enablement is suggested.
+ Expert proficiency in SQL Databases is suggested. Develop innovative solutions using IBM Sterling OMS Technical to enhance application performance.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application configurations.
+ Lead training sessions on IBM Sterling Commerce for team members.
+ Implement best practices in Configuration & Release Management for efficient project delivery. Analyze and optimize SQL Databases for improved application functionality.
**Must-Have skills for the role** : 1) IBM Sterling OMS Version 10 2) Sterling Intelligent Promising (SIP) 3) SQL
Nice-to-have skills: 1) ServiceNow 2) Java 3) Configuration and Design
Years of experience needed: 8 Years
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide production support for Sterling OMS Version 10, ensuring system stability and seamless order management.
- Manage and troubleshoot Inventory Management functionalities within Sterling OMS, maintaining accurate stock levels and synchronization across systems.
- Leverage experience with Sterling Intelligent Promising (SIP) to handle inventory sourcing and order promising logic effectively.
- Address and resolve incidents related to orders, inventory discrepancies, and system integration issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes, process improvements, and configuration changes.
- Maintain technical documentation for inventory workflows, support processes, and system configurations.
**Required Skills:**
- Hands-on experience with Sterling OMS Version 10 and its Inventory Management module.
- Knowledge and experience in Sterling Intelligent Promising (SIP) for order and inventory optimization.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting OMS-related issues, with skills in SQL and basic Java.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
**Education needed for the role** : Bachelors/ Masters
