**Job Description:** This position is responsible for dishwashing and other general housekeeping tasks to maintain the Culinary Department in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital, Health Department and Joint Commission standards. This position is responsible for cleanliness of dining tables, kitchen equipment and patient trays. **Job Essentials** + Cleans and sanitizes dishes according to hospital department guidelines. + Gathers patient trays from hospital floors. + Cleans and disinfects assigned areas including dining areas using department cleaning procedures. + Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards. + Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash. + Handles and cleans up emergency spills per department guidelines as well as to Joint Commission and OSHA standards. + Operates and maintains assigned equipment (e.g. commercial dishwasher) according to established procedures. Reports problems with equipment and facility in an appropriate and timely manner. + Other duties as assigned **Minimum Requirements** + Demonstrates communication skills to include reading color coded labels and chemicals as well as following written and verbal directions. + Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications** + Professional housekeeping experience **Physical Requirements:** **Physical Requirements** + Operate housekeeping equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. + See and read labels, monitors, and documents. + Carry, push/pull, and walk while transporting supplies, and service equipment. + Climb, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs to clean equipment and reach and retrieve supplies. + Remain standing for long periods of time to perform work. + Tolerate hot and cold extremes in temperature. **Location:** Primary Childrens at Lehi **Work City:** Lehi **Work State:** Utah **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
