What You'll Do: Maintain daily sanitation log for both dish machine and manual pot washing sink. Clean and sanitize all dishware, pots, pans, and glassware either by hand or by using the dish machine. Ensure all chemicals are at sufficient levels in the dish machine. Be energy conscious and turn off lights when not in use, keep water faucets turned off, and report any leaks to supervisors or the manager on duty. You will be a key player in safety by paying close attention to specific high traffic areas to avoid accidents, slips, trips, and falls. Use proper dishes and glass racks to ensure proper cleaning and avoid chips, cracks, or breakage of small wares. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. Can learn different tasks within the kitchen and develop new skills. Be a part of a team and assist in other areas when business levels dictate. Properly recycling all cardboard using the compactor. Must have the ability to work on foot for most of their shift. Must have the ability to move, traverse, position yourself to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position, and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs. in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dustpans, scrub pads and dusters. This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during nights, weekends and holidays. Must have a flexible schedule that can move between shifts as needed.
