The Tempo New York Times Square is looking for a temporary Steward to join our team.

Designed by WATG and Mancini Duffy, this stunning property will feature 661 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the city and lights of Times Square. The sky lobby, located on the 11th floor, includes communal working spaces as well as a fitness centre and hydration station. Dining venues will comprise a restaurant with menu items “fit for fueling for the day ahead”, a bar and lounge offering small plates with craft beverages, and an outdoor dining terrace overlooking Times Square.

Pay Rate: $28.64 - $38.19 / hour

What will I be doing?

As a Steward, you would be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware.  

\n

\n

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

\n\nWash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils.\nScrub pots and pans.\nReplenish food and supplies as needed.\nBurnish, de-tarnish and polish silver.\nStock and maintain supplies and equipment.\nPerform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trash.\nTransport and store clean service ware.\nTrain other stewards, as needed.\nPrepare and place clean service ware for events and functions.\n\n
