About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor supervises and participates in the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glass, silver, kitchen equipment and kitchen production areas.

What you will do

•    Organize work assignments and make recommendations in regard to training, performance evaluations, and discipline for stewards.

•    Assist and oversee the cleaning and sanitizing of china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly.

•    Assist and oversee the cleaning and sanitizing all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils and equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls.

•    Safely set-up, clean, and utilize the silver burnishing machine to clean, polish, sort, and transport silver.

•    Safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials.

What you bring

•    At least 1 year of stewarding experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.

•    Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

•    Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems preferred/is a plus.

•    Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.

•    Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 lbs.

•     Full-Time

•     This position requires the flexibility to work a diverse schedule encompassing days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
