3 years managing and supporting philanthropic events and stewardship activities, preferably in healthcare or advancement services Requires excellent interpersonal skills, detail oriented and ability to prioritize work, organize multiple priorities and meet all deadlines in a timely fashion.The work requires creativity as well as special attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The candidate must possess excellent time management and functional organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks in a short period of time.
The candidate must be able to relate well and work effectively with multiple constituencies and audiences. A team player committed to developing and working within a collaborative environment and to ensuring the highest customer service orientation. Leadership ability with exemplary interpersonal, verbal, listening and written communication skills.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management; Communications; OR Related FieldResponsibilities Include:
Manages a comprehensive stewardship and recognition program that is effectively integrated with revenue goalsStrategizes on new initiatives and recommendations to innovatively approach stewardship, based on input from the Foundation team, stewardship colleagues and benchmarking at other successful institutions. Compile approaches and practices to revise guidelines to be used as a resource for the Foundation’s program.Works closely with hospital colleagues to gather, message, and provide support for solicitation and impact reporting processes with a focus on major and principal gifts Coordinates the creation of personalized letters, regular updates and reports assuring timely messages according to Foundation prioritiesDevelops and implements systems and policies to inform and engage, ensuring donors at each level and circumstance are effectively recognized, thanked, and connected to the Foundation’s missionEnsures the quality and timeliness of stewardship materials including endowment, annual and special reports and other materials as requestedEnsures appropriate acknowledgment of donors’ gifts on the Foundation’s recognition walls and coordinates with Communications Manager for strategic recognition in publications and other communicationsDevelops, executes and shares ideas and plans to surprise and delight donors and key stakeholders suitable to their relationship with the Foundation
