**Job Title: Stick Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Stick Welder responsible for maintenance and welding at various plants. This role involves traveling between plants as needed, primarily performing stick welding, mechanical troubleshooting, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for plant equipment and related areas.
+ Independently determine the need for and perform basic repairs, services, and related work on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment.
+ Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant through maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment and operating conditions.
+ Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and adjustments on selected equipment and fixtures, as well as operational testing and verification to specific standards.
+ Operate front-end loaders or forklifts according to current needs.
+ Implement and maintain all Lockout/Tagout programs and policies, ensuring personnel follow safe procedures.
+ Use various hand tools and test equipment to analyze, evaluate, and correct malfunctions in systems, devices, and instruments.
+ Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of stick welding experience.
+ 2 years of experience in a mechanic or maintenance position.
+ 1+ year of experience working independently.
+ Ability to stoop, stand, bend, and work in outdoor elements.
**Work Environment**
This role operates in an outdoor concrete facility. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and layers as needed, with high-visibility gear provided. The position typically involves day shift hours from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility required for breakdowns and occasional Saturdays.
