As an STMS, you will ensure the accurate following of temporary traffic management plans and oversee set up and pack down of road closures and diversions. 

You will be confident leading toolbox and closure briefings with crew, whilst providing clear job details and expectations to TMO’s. Willing and able to train and upskill our and junior STMS’ Ensure the safety of the Downer crew, subbies, and the general public

This STMS role is primarily a Monday – Friday, full time-permanent position based in Queenstown. This could involve occasional weekend and night work, and will require the ability to perform on-call/emergency response duties at times.

As an STMS, you will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you. 

A valid STMS warrant (be it A/B or Level 1/2) is essential Full Class 2 Drivers License is highly desirable Strong planning skills and the ability to deal with unexpected events and problem solve  Demonstrated leadership strength with the ability to guide, coach, and empower others  Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Flexibility and adaptability is required due to the outdoor nature of the role Show commitment to safe work practises
