Stock Admin Team Leader (AM)

Are you an experienced administrator? Maybe you have a stock control background? Are you ready to manage a small team? Want to work on a brand new contract for site?

 

We are looking for a Stock Admin Team Leader to join our new team for Iceland at our site in Hams Hall, B46. You will assist the operation by leading and managing 2 Stock Administrators while striving to support effective productivity, quality, and efficiency to meet targets. You will also undertake activities to achieve departmental KPIs and goals and take ownership of workstreams.

 

This is a full-time, permanent role and you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Ensure the desired level of SAP pipeline tasks are in place to ensure the Operational Team workload is suitably supported and prioritised Manage the Stock Administrators to maintain good stock integrity practices. Investigate all discrepancies, follow through errors with training, and escalate through to investigation or disciplinary as required Manage resource levels, overtime and agency labour for the department Manage and develop the team through PPR completion, to ensure succession planning/talent management is in place. Plan the daily workload and ensure that time and attendance matters are managed Building positive customer relationships and responding constructively to customer requests and internal departments

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Stock control experience. Preferred experience of SAP with Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook Ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers & other internal departments Experience in a similar Team leader role. Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate Take ownership of processes and responsibility for own workload with ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner
