Jockey is seeking an energetic Stockroom Associate to join our team at our Nashville TN Coopers 12 South store. The Stockroom Associate is responsible for the management of receiving, sorting, stocking of merchandise while providing backup assistance as a Sales Associate when needed.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

Adhere to all Jockey policies and procedures to the proper handling of all financial sales. Manage the physical disposition of non-saleable inventory by scheduling donations with the Store Manager’s partnership. Demonstrate knowledge of the complete line of Jockey products and convey this knowledge to the consumer Manage the organization of the inbound receiving area by ensuring that aisles and walkways are clear of all debris including boxes, carts and any of items that could create a tripping or falling hazard Perform and/ or assist with RFID inventory scanning on a weekly basis Prepare and ship/receive store to store transfers as needed Balance in store stock with offsite storage to ensure product accessibility is immediate. Maintain offsite storage in an organized and accurately inventoried manner. Assist with the cleaning and straightening of the Store (office, sales floor, bathrooms, and stock room, etc.) Provide assistance on the sales floor when needed Observe all Jockey Policies and Procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:.

Prior experience in retail back office receiving required Retail sales skills required Familiarity with eCommerce/internet retail Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings, to meet the needs of the business.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Ability to move about the store and back-office areas to assist customers and manage merchandise. Ability to transport (drive), organize and place product back and forth from off-site storage Ability to move 25 pounds; ascend/descend to stock and merchandise the store and assist customers.
