THE JOB:

A Retail Stock Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of a retail store. Their primary responsibilities revolve around ensuring the store’s inventory is well-stocked, organized, and properly displayed to provide an excellent shopping experience for our guests.

STARTING PAY: $16.00 hourly

SCHEDULE: Varied Shifts, to include weekends and holidays

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Receiving and Unloading Shipments: Accepting deliveries of new stock and supplies. Verifying the contents of shipments against invoices or purchase orders. Unpacking boxes and organizing products in the stockroom.Stocking Shelves: Replenishing stock on the sales floor, ensuring shelves are fully stocked with products. Rotating items to display newer products. Organizing products in a aesthetically pleasing and practical manner to optimize sales.Maintaining the Stockroom: Keeping the stockroom clean, organized, and safe. Arranging items by categories, ensuring the stock is easily accessible for sales team.Assisting with Customer Service: Helping customer locate items in the store. Checking stock availability for customers or ordering items when they are out of stock.Security and Loss Prevention: Reporting suspicious activity or theft to management. Ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage and reduce loss.Assisting with Store Operations: Supporting the sales team by performing various operational task like price tagging or restocking during busy times. Assisting in store opening or closing procedures, as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 1 year of Retail Warehouse experienceAt least 1 year Retail experienceAt least 1 year Cash Handling experienceAbility to be flexible with schedulingExceptional communication skills.Strong problem-solving abilities.Takes pride in their work and is self- motivated.Enjoys working with a team to promote a collaborative environment.
