Position Summary

 Receives and stocks food and beverage products in walk-in refrigerators, freezers or storeroom. Fills purchase requisitions and delivers products to the food and beverage venues, kitchens, lounges and bars.

 Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Ensures all areas are maintained and adequately stocked. Ensures product is rotated properly, First in First Out (FIFO), oldest product to the front, newest to the rear. Tracks orders and investigates problems. Ensures correct product is received and meets requirements regarding temperature, quality, and appearance. Pulls and delivers products according to requisition requests from various venues and ensures that paperwork is processed according to policy. Assists with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments; ensures accuracy of shipment against purchase order and packing slips. Ensures inventory merchandise is stocked in the proper location. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.  

 Additional Responsibilities

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in building a cohesive working relationship with co-workers and internal/external contact. Performs additional duties as necessary.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success.  KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.

8.            Knowledge of Casino requisition and invoicing procedures.

9.            Knowledge of clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.

10.          Ability to follow instructions.

11.          Ability to deal effectively with the general public and Resort & Casino staff.

12.          Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations.

13.          Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.

14.          Ability to write and prepare standard reports and documents.

15.          Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food/drink preservation.

17.          Ability to multi-task.

   Education And Experience  

Required

High School Diploma or GED certification. Two (2) years’ experience in warehousing, inventory control or in a related position involved in the shipping, receiving and storage of equipment, materials and supplies. One (1) year supervisory experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Note:  Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience. 

License/Certifications/Registrations

Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.

Description

Balancing

Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

Finger Dexterity

Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

Grasping

Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

Hearing

Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

Kneeling

Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.

Lifting

Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles. (Up to 75 lbs.)

Pulling

Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion. (Up to 200 lbs.)

Pushing

Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. (Up to 200 lbs.)

Reaching

Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Seeing

The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye.

Walking

Job requirements include, in the performance of duties, walking throughout the work area, on various work surfaces throughout internal or external locations.

Sitting

Particularly for sustained periods of time.

Standing

Particularly for sustained periods of time.

Stooping

Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.

Talking

Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

List Working Conditions Required

Work is performed indoors and outdoors.  Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions. Indoor coolers and freezer temperatures vary from 0-40 degrees. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Work hours are subject to change with overtime work required. Subject to hazards, which may cause personal bodily harm, smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft-carpeted floors, outdoor surfaces, cement structures and surfaces.
