We have an outstanding Contract position for a Stock Clerk to join a leading Company located in the Carson, CA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $18.00
Job Responsibilities:  Performs various types of product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standardsReceives and stocks incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepares shipmentsProcesses all in-and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shippingAudits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order Packs and labels product based on established standardsEnsures that proper equipment, documents, and accessories are shipped with correct orderPrepares shipping and receiving documentationmaintains orderly files for all documentationParticipates in scheduling of daily transportationProcesses all receiving transactions and paperworkInspects all incoming freight for damage and follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues Operates forklift and pallet jackAssists in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipmentsAssists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the shipping areaPerforms required administrative tasks; prepares required reports and correspondencePerforms other duties as assigned by manager
Basic Hiring Criteria:High school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skillsExperience: 0-2 yearsFamiliar with Windows Operating System
