Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Medical Supply Chain Technician to manage inventory and code carts in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory skills and attention to detail, ensuring medical supplies are accurately stocked and code carts are properly maintained.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and scan medical supplies into the hospital inventory system.Stock items in the supply chain department and par closets on each floor of the hospital.Build various code carts needed in the hospital and nearby clinics, checking lists for each cart type.Check expiration dates of items in code carts, ensuring compliance with the first in, first out concept.Verify that stocked items match the items on the shelf.Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.Essential SkillsInventory skillsBasic math counting skillsShipping and receiving experienceAbility to walk long distancesAttention to detailCustomer service experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsRF Scanner experience preferredUnderstanding of pick/order sheetsComputer skills to respond to emails and calls from the hospitalPhysically capable of pushing a cart and walking 15,000-20,000 steps per shiftWhy Work Here?

Employees accrue 4 hours of PTO per week, totaling 208 hours per year, with the ability to roll over unused hours. Holiday pay is double time for scheduled holidays. Long-term and short-term disability are also covered. After six months of full-time employment, employees have the opportunity to move into any qualifying position within the organization.
Work Environment
This role is based in a hospital environment where you will interact with doctors and nurses. The position requires working three 12-hour shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, as well as a 4-hour shift on Saturday. Hours may change depending on holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
