WestRock's Automated Packaging Systems in Orlando, FL is looking for a Stock Room Associate. This is a Monday-Friday first shift position from 7am-3pm.

$22.50/hr-$25.75/hr DOE

PURPOSE OF POSITION
 Accumulate and distribute subcomponents for the manufacturing and completion of machines to WestRock’s specifications.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
 * Understanding of basic computer operations, knowledge and skills of inventory control/cycle count.

*WMS (IFS) Preferred
 *Staging/Forklift/Pallet Jack Experience

*Heavy Lifting

*Diploma/GED

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 * Work safely, follow all safety practices.
 * Accumulate finished components from manufacturing areas.
 * Control daily plating (ship out/receive in) activities.
 * Distribute components to the paint department.
 * Accumulate and stage components from inventory to a specific job.
 * Issue components to a specific job and/or stock from inventory control or job costing program.
 * Compile purchase/storage requisitions for deficit or defective parts as needed.
 * Return components to inventory not used on a specific job.
 * Promptness, follow work schedule.
 * Cleanup of work area and shop as needed or directed.
 
RELATIONSHIPS
 * Reports to Production Supervisor(s)
 * Maintains internal relationships with fellow employees
 * Maintains external relationships with:
 * Customers and their specific needs
 * Supplier representatives
* Smurfit WestRock personnel
