**Job Title: Stockroom Associate**
**Job Description**
Ensures the orderly and timely flow of component parts, assemblies, and subassemblies in sufficient time to meet the requirements of the production schedule. Responsible for issuance of materials to production operations. This role entails critical handling of large/heavy work pieces to allow operators and others to perform operations such as shearing, punching, drilling, bending, and deburring. Performs area cleanup and safety-related duties. Ensures effective inventory control over all incoming and stocked material, equipment, and supplies. Proficient in performing all essential functions independently if needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Possess necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks
+ Communicate clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers - work toward team goals
+ Identify material shortages and support problem-solving resolutions
+ Document and distribute scrap/salvage parts
+ Kit daily or weekly assembly picks as required by job function
+ Maintain general knowledge of material planning, control, manufacturing environments, and inventory methodology
+ Exhibit general organizational skills, communication skills (verbal & written), collaboration skills, and flexibility
+ Work with minimal supervision
+ Follow established procedures on routine work, only requiring specific instructions on new assignments

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule from 6am-2:30pm. The facility is climate-controlled, and employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area. The dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing setting, requiring safety gear as necessary.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
