Stockroom Coordinator
**Worker Type** Regular **Job Description** **Summary** The **Stockroom Coordinator** performs the administrative and physical tasks involved in the logging, storing, tracking, issuance, and shipment of engineering development materials. Primary responsibility is to coordinate all functions related to the Engineering Stockroom. This position requires unique experience and background in material management, specifically government materials, and contract knowledge. **Position Responsibilities:** + Lead material management, inventory control, and support for Engineering on multiple new and ongoing specific R&D projects/programs and Engineering Labs + Function as the gatekeeper for the Engineering Development Materials Storage Area (Secure Area - authorized access only) + Help define processes for handling of Engineering material + Collaborate directly with Program/Project Managers, Chief Engineers, Contracts, Finance, Buyers, and Program/Project Planners for any material requests or discrepancy resolutions + Verify all incoming material released from receiving and that it’s properly labeled with Project/Program Number, Purchase Order Number, Part Number, Quantity and Revision (serialization when necessary), including Government Tracked material (CAP/CAM) with system assigned AVOLS Tracking Number to meet government and audit requirements + Allocate location(s) for all inventory, including government tracked material required to be separated, and record information into the proper spreadsheet per specific project/program tasks for Engineering, Project/Program Managers, and Planning reference + Expedite material requests for issuance, obtain signature(s) for release. If handling government-regulated materials, process the transaction in the Inventory Management System (Oracle) and maintain appropriate filing and documentation + Manage materials and collaborate with Engineering, Quality Engineering, Project/Program Managers, Project Planning and Development Technicians for First Article analysis, evaluation, inspection and test, as well as rework, modifications, upgrades, returns/replacements and identification + Prepare accurate and complete documentation for all inventory transactions upon every material movement + Perform and report inventory cycle counts of engineering material(s) + Assist Property and Asset Management in related material transactions such as maintaining compliance with FAR part 52.245-1 for unmanned aircraft systems in development, field-for-test/training applications, audits, reconciliation, PCARSS, material disposition, and contract/program/project close-out + Adhere to 6S Standards + Maintain daily recycling and sustainability program for miscellaneous materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, ESD sensitive bags, and packaging) to support proper handling, storage and issuance of materials, resulting in significant company savings + Adapt, multitask, and prioritize effectively to meet daily/hourly changing demands in a fast-paced technical environment + Other duties as assigned **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):** + High School diploma or GED equivalent and/or equivalent certificate from a technical school + Minimum of 2+ years of related functional experience (i.e.- previous stockroom/inventory) or equivalent combination of experience and education + Experienced in development of build/assembly documentation + Must have a valid Driver's license and clean driving record + Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency using office software (Excel and Word is highly desired) + Computerized inventory control system (Oracle is preferred) + Obtain Security Clearance + Hazmat Knowledge + Forklift Certification **Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:** + Familiarity with electronics manufacturing is preferred + Demonstrated knowledge of safe material handling practices and the safe handling of electro-static sensitive components (ESD) is desired + Consistently demonstrates strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) and attention to detail + Communicates effectively with internal and external customers + Demonstrates teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one's own interests + Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties + Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives + Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products + Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company + Familiar with Social Engineering Red Flags **Physical Demands:** + Ability to work in an office and assembly environment + Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard + May operate forklift, dolly and/or pallet jack in loading and unloading supplies and equipment + Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and objects of varying sizes **Special Requirements:** · U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
