Stockroom Supervisor

Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.​ As the Stockroom Supervisor, you will manage the organization and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies at our state-of-the-art facility. Working onsite, you will lead a team of stockroom personnel, ensure accurate inventory management, and implement lean initiatives to optimize operations. In this leadership role, you will collaborate with procurement, materials management, and production teams to streamline material flow and meet production targets. You Will: + Lead, train, and mentor stockroom personnel, overseeing the efficient receipt, issuance, and distribution of materials and supplies. + Establish and document processes to ensure transaction accuracy and maintain precise inventory records. + Develop policies and procedures that reduce costs, increase operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. + Conduct cycle counts, verify inventory accuracy, and partner with the Materials Manager and Procurement to balance stock levels, prevent shortages, and avoid overstock scenarios. + Coordinate closely with Procurement to secure material supply and manage inventory against production requirements. + Ensure timely picking and delivery of job parts kits, working within ERP systems to schedule and manage inventory effectively. + Address past-due backlogs, align inventory management with demand, and assist in disposing of excess and obsolete stock. + Champion lean manufacturing principles, transition to paperless processes, and implement visual supply systems for improved supplier-to-point-of-use material flow. You Have: + Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (B.A. or equivalent from a four-year college or university). + 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Familiarity with EPICOR MRP system is a plus. + Demonstrated supervisory experience, including directing, coordinating, and evaluating up to 25 team members. + Proven ability to manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, training, delegating work, evaluating performance, and handling rewards, complaints, and conflict resolution. + Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
