Responsible for overseeing all Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) purchasing activities and projects at the Hagerstown plant, this role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities. This position is the primary point of contact for all MRO procurement needs, including overseeing plant MRO inventory, managing SAP and physical inventory, and sourcing essential items necessary for the facility's operations. Effective and prompt communication with internal stakeholders and vendors is crucial, alongside building and maintaining strong vendor relations through consistent follow-up and follow-through.
Essential Functions:
Purchasing of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials and services that are required to do daily business by obtaining multiple quotes for items to be purchased for the site with our preferred MRO suppliers and other established vendors, manage cost control, obtain cost savings, and maintain supporting documentation for auditing purposes.
