**Job Title: Metal Finishing Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Metal Finishing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating power tools and hand tools to polish and finish metal and non-metal surfaces, inspecting materials for imperfections or defects, and making necessary adjustments. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with team members to meet production goals. **Responsibilities** + Operate power tools and hand tools to polish and finish metal and non-metal surfaces. + Inspect materials for imperfections or defects and make necessary adjustments. + Assemble and fabricate components as needed. + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. **Essential Skills** + Experience with stoning, sanding, pumicing, hard wheel grinding, and wet stone operations. + Familiarity with metal finishing techniques including polishing, blueprint reading, sanding, deburring, and metal finishing. + Ability to inspect parts and materials for quality control. + Knowledge of operating power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with stoning/sanding/pumicing precious metals and/or raw metal materials (plated or solid). + Familiarity with brands such as Burr-King, Durenamel, RBC, Baldor, Zoeller. + Experience using equipment like rubber fingers, diamond point dressing tool, double-headed lathe, air exhaust systems, triple F ground pumice, strainers/baskets, belt sander, and belt sandpaper (100-500 grit). + Ability to work on a timecard and meet expected rates per hour. + No known allergies to natural elements such as dirt, mud, sand, or inorganic compounds like plastic paint/epoxy, hardeners, adhesives, sealers, or UV materials. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity with potential for growth into a lead or managerial position.
