Administer and maintain SAN (Storage Area Network) infrastructure consisting of high end storage systems including DMX, VMAXs, UPSs, USPVs and Cisco Switches.
Solid understanding of SAN topology and configuration, including multi-pathing and failover across dual/redundant fabrics.
Perform daily operational tasks on Storage system such as provisioning using EMC and HDS management tools.
Perform zoning on Cisco switches and monitor performance using management tools such as Fabric Manager,
Analyze and remediate operational issues as it relates to the storage infrastructure. Participate in continual analysis of new hardware/software needs and improve operational policies and procedures base on current industry’s best practices.
Participate in customer requirement meetings and reviews relating to customer issues. Provide hands-on storage system administration support and operations support of storage area network infrastructure.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required for this positon.
