Job Description
As a Food Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating the purchase of food items from suppliers to meet the needs of our food service establishment. You will ensure quality, quantity, and price are optimized while adhering to budget constraints and maintaining inventory levels. Key responsibilities include identifying vendors, comparing prices, negotiating contracts, managing deliveries, and monitoring product quality. Additionally, you will handle the receiving of food and other supplies, ensuring they meet quality standards. This role is essential in the process of getting food from the supplier to the customer.

Work Environment
This role is based in a hospital environment. The work schedule is from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required as days and hours can vary depending on events.
