Sound like the place for you? Join us! The Server Infrastructure team is looking for a Storage Engineer.  

We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays.  Additionally, the candidate needs a solid understanding of Linux multipath and Fibre Channel switching. 

 

In this role you’ll be responsible for: 

Design, implement, and manage storage solutions, primarily using Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays. 

Collaborate with storage vendors on installation, upgrades, and replacements of storage arrays. 

Ensure optimal performance and reliability of storage systems. 

Administer Fibre Channel switches, with a preference for experience with Cisco MDS switches. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on storage projects and requests. 

Document processes and maintain Cboe’s global standards for storage system architecture. 

The ideal candidate has: 

5+ years of experience in storage engineering. 

Strong expertise in Hitachi storage solutions: OpsCenter Admin, CM-REST, Analyzer, and RAIDCOM 

Familiarity with Pure Storage arrays. 

Proficient in Linux and multipath daemons. 

Experience with Fibre Channel switch administration, preferably Cisco MDS. 

Eagerness to work with and learn from the Linux/Storage team. 

You’ll really stand out with: 

Detailed knowledge of the Hitachi and Pure array model lines. 

Troubleshooting skills for Fibre Channel performance issues. 

Ability to write and understand scripts used for automation of data collection tasks. 

Experience with software defined storage. 

Knowledge of disaster recover solutions leveraging storage technologies.
