Description We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Working in the manufacturing industry, the focus of your role will be to ensure the smooth operation of the Pure Storage and manage MDS SAN, Responsibilities: • Ensure the efficient deployment and management of the Commvault, focusing on enterprise-level data backup and recovery. • Take charge of administering the MDS SAN, including setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting any issues related to the storage area network. • Be responsible for the setup and management of the Cisco Unified Computing System to integrate computing, networking, and storage resources for increased efficiency and centralized management. Requirements • 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Storage (Pure Storage) and VMware Infrastructure. • In-depth understanding of system engineering principles and methodologies. • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing IT systems and infrastructure. • Strong problem-solving capabilities with an aptitude for identifying and rectifying system malfunctions. • Proficient in using modern engineering tools and software for system design and management. • Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineering teams and stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical information in an understandable manner. • Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in systems engineering. • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Demonstrable project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring tasks. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. • Willingness to undergo further training as required and show commitment to continuous learning.
