General Summary: Store Display Coordinator leads a project team of 8 – 20 people and is responsible for effectively planning, managing, and overseeing the process and project activities for store renovations, new stores, relocations, special projects and expansions. Incumbents must travel to all project sites to ensure accuracy and proper completion.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee multiple renovation, new store, relocation and expansion projects. Must ensure that project activities are within pre-specified budget hours and company standardsEnsure success of daily on-site operations by directing and informing team members. Team members must unload merchandise and fixtures; and properly install store fixturing and merchandise schematic/flow setsMeet and exceed project scorecard standards and district management expectationsProvide timely reports to District Managers and Store Display Managers regarding the status of projectsPartner with and support other Store Display CoordinatorsOversee all post-renovation/post-opening/post-relocation and expansion punchlist by partnering with the business ownersMaintain a safe working environment at job sites Implement new procedures, best practices, useful tools and efficiencies for all projects Follow all Company policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned
Position Requirements:Strong communication skillsAbility to manage othersAbility to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment; and must be able to adapt quickly to changeStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects Knowledge of sequencing and merchandisingAbility to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see implications and provide solutions and recommendationsMust be able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule formStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levelsMust have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportationMust be able to travel including driving and flyingAbility to manage personal and company expenses due to travel Working Conditions: Must be able to work non-traditional hoursAbility to travel up to 100% of the time to specific project locations. Overnight travel is required. Work schedule to include up to 14 days consecutiveMust be able to operate small power toolsAbility to lift up to 60 lbsAbility to climb, walk and stand for extended periods of time Minimum Requirements: Education: High School, GED
Experience: 3 – 5 years of related work experience, preferably within the retail industry
Technical: Proficiency with MS Office software including Word, Outlook and Excel; Ability to learn new applications
