Job Overview:

The Store In-Stock Analyst works very closely with the Inventory Planning and Store teams with the primary goal of improving in-stock improvements in the store territories that they own.  The individual will conduct analysis on inventory levels and in-stock rates for the stores in their territory and highlight opportunities for improvement with the Inventory Planning team. The Store In-Stock Analyst will also partner with the store teams including TVPs, DM’s and GM’s to understand opportunities for assortment and inventory levels and partner with Inventory Planning and the Merchandise Operations team to address.  In addition, the Store In-Stock Analyst will leverage the LFC network to improve in-stock rates, in particular with Never Out items, and they will also coordinate reverse logistics to move slowing moving inventory into locations that can sell.   The Store In-Stock Analyst will report to the Manager of Merchandise Operations and be dotted line to the TVP’s.

Responsibilities:

Store Partnership Action opportunities to update the assortment for the local customer, in collaboration with Merchandise Operations Action opportunities to improve inventory levels and in-stocks, in collaboration with Inventory Planning Understand store physical capacity levels and collaborate with Inventory Planning to ensure optimal use of store space Keep stores informed of inventory outages, answers to their requests In-Stock Analysis Maintain in-stock on Never Out items of 97% or better Generate reporting and analysis to identify opportunities to improve in-stock levels Optimize LFC’s Leverage LFC’s to improve the customer experience and keep stores in-stock Identify opportunities to improve LFC assortment Partner with LFC GM’s to understand store physical capacity levels and collaborate with Inventory Planning to ensure optimal use of space Coordinate Reverse Logistics Conduct analysis to identify slow sellers, and opportunities to move product to locations that can sell Collaborate with Merchandise Operations, Stores, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain to ensure superior execution of reverse logistics This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills as they will deal with our several internal partners on a regular basis The Store In-Stock Analyst must be very analytical and detail oriented This position requires excellent use of and knowledge of all MS suite products which include and are not limited to: Excel, Word, and Access. Familiarity with JDA is a plus Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and must be able to prioritize their workload. Must be proactive in completing tasks and eager to learn. Must be willing to try, learn, apply and innovate

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of work experience Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Technical proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access, JDA Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide supply outstanding customer service in spite of obstacles. Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under a stringent timetable.
